The Gochsheimer Yellow Carrot is a non-hybrid variety that had almost fallen into oblivion until it was rediscovered. Under an initiative by the Real Food Foundation that is committed to a broader understanding of food quality, Demeter farmer Friedhard Bühler grew these fresh spicy carrots from only a handful of archived seeds. The bright yellow juice of the sun carrot tastes fresh and summery. Voelkel is the first manufacturer in the world to bottle this 100% direct juice. Sun carrot, in Demeter quality, is the ideal summery addition to the best-selling Voelkel field-fresh carrot juice. Incidentally, the organic juice factory in Wendland is the only producer that processes only vegetables in organic and Demeter quality, and does so in-house, without needing to buy in third-party juices.
